V for Vendetta

"The People Should Not Be Afraid of the Government, the Government Should Be Afraid of the People"

-V-

Is this quote still applicable to all the countries in this world? As we all understand that is the people that choose which government to govern the country. But, now days is the government that tell you which government you can choose to govern the country. Since both side has the power to determine each other's position, who should we afraid of and what the government is afraid of?

Christmas at Office

I see that many has gone out for a Christmas shopping regardless of bad weather recently in Malaysia and Singapore. I hope I have time to go shopping, I have been busy with my work recently. I must finish all the works before the school starts on 3rd Januay 2007.
Just recentlly I just found a nice Christmas music video at youtube.com. The music video was quite interesting as it really have the feel and mood of Christmas.
This is K’s 7th single and it was released on November 1, 2006. This single reached #25 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and is currently still charting. The title track was the theme song to the movie 7gatsu 24nichi Dori no Christmas. First Christmas features the traditional elements of a perfect Christmas song: jingle bells, an amazing string arrangement, and a lot of heart and soul. The middle of the song includes an acapella ensemble that gives the song a very old school and classic feel to it.

Just to share this video with you all here, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! New Year is a new hope and new life!
Enjoy this video First Christmas from K.

The "Mat Rempit"

Probably some of you here might have heard about Mat Rempit or maybe you have seen before, just that you did not know what was the name given to these people. Mat Rempit is a group of motorists that loved to endangered them self by performing some dangerous moves while on their bike at the highway. Thus, their illegal activities were not only endangered them self but other people who use the highway as well.
Mat Rempit was originally a group of illegal motorbike racers. Their illegal activities evolved from motorbike illegal racers to illegal motorbike free style performers. The local authorities have tried many time to track them down and stop their illegal activities. But seems like not much of them were being arrested by the police as they always change the location of their activities. However, do not under estimate their background as most of these people were Malaysian local universities graduates and some of them still studying at the universities. Maybe you might feel curious why are these educated people involved in such illegal activities? Well, I guess you know what the youngster like in these days? What they like is fun, challenging lifestyle and release stress.
Although they were only using Suzuki or Yamaha 110cc motorbike, the speed of their motorbike can actually go more than that. What makes the Malaysian very angry about Mat Rempit? I have encountered many Mat Rempit at the highway like LDP Highway, NPE Highway, Kesas Highway and Cheras-Kajang Highway. Usually they love teasing other highway users before performing their dangerous moves on their motorbikes. The worst i heard is they even splash beer or paint on your car.
Please go to these website and see how these Mat Rempit look like on the street.

Temasek Sec Trespassed by HolyDevil Part II

There were some irritating moves created by a group of people who claimed them self to be an explorer codename "HolyDevil". These group of people loved to trespass other people's property especially schools. One of their gang members were spotted near Katong Shopping Complex few days ago and he was holding a skateboard loitering around the place. This have also shown that these group of people might stay somewhere around Bedok area.
If you have read my last blog regarding these people, then you might have watched the ridiculous videos published by these HolyDevil. One of the video shown an anti-christ movement performed by these people and they make fun with a crucifix.
According to the Catholic's belief, In Christian Eschatology the Antichrist or Anti-christ (literally: anti, opposite; christ, messiah) has come to mean a person, image of a person, or other entity that is the embodiment of evil. The name Antichrist derives from the Book of Revelation, which describes a leader who will rise to world dominance during the End Times just before the Second Coming.
Please go to this link and watch the anti-christ video by the HolyDevil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLF8Jg_-pis&mode=related&search= Warning - You might feel irritated after watching this video. May God bless them

Nasi Lemak Boon Lay

want to try some nasi lemak? Well, if i am not mistaken, Boon Lay is quite famous with its Nasi Lemak. Is true or not I am not sure because it was the word of mouth from the people in Boon Lay.
Maybe what they claimed is real because when i went to Boon Lay to have my supper, I saw many people queque up very long just to buy a Nasi Lemak. Here the Nasi Lemak stall were owned by the Chinese, unlike in Kuala Lumpur all the Nasi Lemak stalls were owned by the Malays and they have their own styles of cooking Nasi Lemak. The Nasi Lemak in Bangsar used to be my favourite cos I like the sauce and the fried chicken. After pubbing, the next place to hang out is to go to Nasi Lemak stall at Bangsar.

Anyway I miss the cooking in my hometown at the land below the wind. Can't wait to go back home next year in February 2007. Will have a nice dinner with my family and definitely will ask my mother to cook my favourite shark fins soup. Yummy...

Just go to overview under report tab and you would see your daily earnings sort out by dates, days, months and overall. In the advanced report, you can actually choose the date of your earnings and monitor the impressions and the number of clicks on your ads. Just recently, a series of videos were found on youtube regarding a group of people trespassed our school and recorded their own discovery videos. The codename for this group was "HolyDevil" and they believe to be trespassed the school around 8-10PM. The videos have shown these kpeople climbed over our school gate and enter the school ilegally at night. Our school was not the only school they broke in. They even broke in to Temasek Primary and old Bedok View. The main actor in their discovery video looked like Ah Beng, he's got a red colour hair and with his mouth pierce. In some of the video, he walked around the school with his gang members without a clothe.

The Google Adsense Part- IV

Dear all,

Lets continue with our Google Adsense. Once you have got the domain name and web hosting for your own personal web pages, you can actually start designing your web pages. To design a web pages, its all about the look of your web pages. Before you start designing you web pages, you must have a rough layout of your web pages.

There are certain pages that you must include in your web pages such as "Home page", "About page", "Search page", "Site map page". However, search page is not a must and you have to link your web pages from page 1 to the last page or vice versa. If you have doubt about your own designing skill, you can visit this cool website http://www.coolhomepages.com . It has a lot of website's example and you can refer to these example and come out with your own idea. The web pages should consist of "Header", "Left frame", "Right frame", and "Footer". I won't spend too much time explaining the layout as you might get bored or confuse with the terminology. The website address above can actually guide you with the layouts.

After you have got your layout, its time to create the web pages. But first, you will need a special tool to do that and of course a web editor software. You can find there are many web editor software in the market like Adobe Go Live and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Eric Giguere suggested the use of NVU, a free web editor software. NVU is for everyone and according to NVU official site, "Nvu(pronounced N-View for a new view) makes managing a web site a snap. Now anyone can create web pages and manage a web site with no technical expertise or knowledge of HTML".

Please go to http://www.nvu.com to get your self a copy of NVU and its free. The NVU interface should be look like this :-

Once you have downloaded NVU, install it to your system and start to explore this software by your self. If you have doubt of how to use this software, please go to the tutorial page at http://www.nvu.com . Once you have completed designing you web pages, its time to upload the web pages to your web hosting server and we will discuss about registering Google Adsense in the next post. Enjoy your self with NVU and web design..cheer.

The Google Adsense- Part III

Dear all,

Welcome back. If you wish to have Google ads on your web pages, blogging is one of the way of doing it. However, if you wish to have your own personal website or a unique domain name, you are welcome to do so. By doing so all you need is a credit card.
First, you need to get your self a domain name. Well, I think I won't explain too much on domain name as you might confuse with the definition. I will give you an example of domain and hopefully you get its meaning. When you see an internet address start with "yourname.com", thats actually a domain name. In fact, you can have many top level domain name like " yourname.net", "yourname.org, "yourname.info" and so on. You have to buy a domain name before you can actually publish your website and let everybody in the globe to see it. Buying a domain name is easy, choosing a domain name is the hardest part. Thus, you can actually search for domain name and the good place to search are www.networksolutions.com or www.web.com . Besides, you can also check the price of a domain name at www.buydomains.com and www.dynonames.com for low cost domain names.

After you have your domain name, you will definitely need a web hosting service. web hosting services are actually business that manage web servers and mail servers. The web hosting services runs a data centers that charge users for their users. It is a place where your website's contents will be store and manage by web hosting services. Since it is a business, you will have to pay for company that offer web hosting services and the prices are vary from company to company. Rating of hosting services can be found at www.memwg.com/hosting-service-ratings . If you still have doubt regarding domain name and web hosting, you can always search for information concerning these topic at Google Search Engine.

Once you have done with all these, you can start designing your website or web pages. Designing web pages are not that hard and you do not need to have programming background. We will cover that in The Google Adsense Part 4. Cheers.

The Google Adsense Part- II

Dear All,

wanna thanks to some of my friends who were actually sign up Google Adsense referred by me. If you can't find the book I have mentioned in the last post, I will tell you what to do with Google Adsense.
According to Eric Giguere, you are only need to follow the 4 steps and I believe everyone could follow it regardless of your background. You do not need to have programming skills or web development experience. There is no special software to buy and no hidden cost. The free Google Adsense program will pay you to let companies place their ads on your website and thats it!
The first step is you must have Web pages. For beginner, I suggest you start with a blog which is easy to manage. But remember, you must have a good content on those web pages so that readers will attracted by your unique web pages.
The second step is show ads on your web pages. To show ads on your web pages does not mean that you have to design your own ads and place it on your web pages. If you are designing your own marketing ads, you would have a cost of doing business. For example, you probably would advertise your web pages and earn money by selling some of your web pages space for advertising. Once you have got your self web pages, you can join Google Adsense Program (Please click the Google Adsense banner in this blog if you are ready to register). Google will read the content of your web pages before approving your application and then select ads that are relevant to the content of your web pages. So you do not have to worry about finding or selecting the best ads. Once your application is approved, Google Adsense will supply you a code which will be use to paste onto your web pages. If someone click an ads on your web pages, Google will give you a cost per click fee which they charge from the advertisers. Remember, DO NOT CLICK YOUR OWN ADS TO GET PAY, THEY WILL KNOW IT!
The third step is to drive traffic to your web pages. By just relying on visitors to click on your ads are not enough. You need to increase the numbers of visitors and of course increase the number of ads clicks by your visitors. One of the way is to join Google Adwords where Google will help you to increase the traffic on your web pages. But you have to pay a sum of money to Google for them to do that. The best start and cost effective way is to spread your web pages by introducing your web pages to your best friend or publish your web pages on MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and so on.
The fourth step is monitor and update your web pages. If you have a blog, it is always best to update it regularly if you wish visitors to keep on coming back to your web pages. What attract visitors to come back to your web pages are depend on how interesting are your web pages. If your web pages are very interesting and your visitors love it so much, they will spread a good word of mouth about your web pages and eventually attract more visitors to your web pages.

Too much to digest? Well i guess we will stop here for today lesson. Will get back to you The Google Adsense Part three soon. I will see you guys later. Cheer
